Do you know that you are unique and incapable of being replaced? I discovered how irreplaceable I was in my early teen years! My life was filled with laughter, play, love, and friends; yet, there was a bit of confusion in my life that Father began to help me unravel. He assured me that He was there with me all the time and he will turn my confusion to an inimitable story to help the transformation of other individuals’ lives
What does one do when they have dreams within their heart, yet it’s filled with confusion and a lack of opportunity to release them with wings to fly? Hold them dearly in their heart and eventually, slowly begin to expose them one by one, just like the game of “she loves me she loves me not” when glimpses of pictures of hope flickers in their future.
For Dr. Hopelyn Brown, life has been a wonderful adventure sprinkled with many challenges along the journey. Without the challenges, the fullness of life she has lived up to this point could not be attained. She came out of her mother’s womb in a place that created the atmosphere for her to explore – and that she did.
She skipped to school with her brother, helped to lead the kindergarten class when the teacher had to go for a potty break, getting “jockey rides” or “piggyback rides” from her brother walking from school, play time in the yard with her siblings and good neighbour friends. Then as she got a bit older, a stalwart student in primary school, exemplary in class work, poised, though a bit shy due to some perplexity in her heart.
According to Psalm 22 verse 9, hope was given to me from the time I was taken our out of my mother’s womb. Father made me hope when I was upon my mother’s breasts. This hope was not for only me, but you also.
Jeremiah 29 verse 11 affirms that hope, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you HOPE and a future.”
You are unique and irreplaceable because no matter the circumstances, you have HOPE.
